The 16 inch 24B fire grate is made from sturdy cast iron, suitable for burning solid fuels such as coals, logs or smokeless fuels.
This fire grate has 4 legs allowing it to stand freely in the fireplace opening.

The height is 4'' to the flat part where the fuels would sit on and 7'' upto the front bar.

Is this fire grate and upstand compatible with the 16'' Clevedon Fire Fret?

The Clevedon fret only has a slight curve so it wouldn't be a flush fit. We'd recommend a slightly more curved fret, like the Castle or N-Type, or any tapered fret.

Is the upstand on the BG072 removable or fixed? Does the front of the grate curve upwards?

Unfortunately these baskets cannot be used with Bio Ethanol Inserts.

All other items will be delivered within 3 to 5 working days as they are backordered items which take a few days to receive from the manufacturers. On the rare occasion that a backordered item is out of stock at our warehouse and the manufacturers you will be e-mailed with a revised delivery date.

DELIVERY COSTS What we charge for delivery is what it costs us for the delivery of the orders to you. We operate a 1 delivery charge policy so you will only ever pay 1 delivery charge (The largest delivery charge will be used).
