Wooden Fire Surrounds

We have a huge range of wooden fire surrounds available to choose from. Typical mantel sizes are 48", 54" and 60", however we can have most surrounds made to measure if a special size is required.

Our fire surrounds are typically made from either solid pine or solid oak. As standard they are finished in a light wax for extra protection and to enrich the natural colour of the wood. We can also supply our surrounds in bare wood, unwaxed ready to be stained or waxed a different colour.

A small range of our cheap fire surrounds are made from MDF and veneered. Veneering is when small strips of wood; typically thinner than 3mm are attached to the MDF to imitate a certain wood type. If the surround is made from MDF and veneered this will be 100% clear in the product description.
